Whatever you do, don’t let the marbles fall! KerPlunk arrived in 1967 from Ideal Toy Company, with players carefully pulling plastic sticks from a tube while trying not to send the marbles crashing to the bottom. The original box called it, “A tantalizing game of nerve and skill,” while the wonderfully simple instructions could be summed up as, “Take your pick and pull a stick.” Pull the wrong one and… KerPlunk! Ideal, which also gave us Mouse Trap, later advertised itself as “The Good Game People.”
